Virtual Summer Science Camp
Kids, are you looking for some science fun this summer? Parents, want to get your kids excited about science? If you answered “Yes” then consider this virtual summer science camp opportunity for rising 4th and 5th graders.
Theme: Energy, energy, energy! Come explore solar, electrical, light, and heat energy with us!
General Information:
- Participation is free.
- We will provide each student participant* with a kit of cool science materials. You will use them during the virtual summer science camp. The materials are yours to keep after the camp is over!
- You need a computer, internet access, and an adult to chaperone your virtual sessions.
Camp Details:
- When: July 18th-22nd, 9:00-10:00am daily.
- Where: Virtually, and in your own home space.
- Participants must commit to attending all days of the Summer Science Camp.
- Participants must commit to picking up science kit materials during the week of July 4th – 15th from one of the districts below:
o Orangeburg County School District Central Office
o Colleton County School District Central Office
o Florence 3 School District Central Office or,
o Marlboro County School District Central Office
How to Register:

We are seeking a limited number of highly motivated students to help us.

Good Morning BIS Family. After much consideration and thought we have decided to give four (4) tickets per child for the upcoming 5th grade promotion ceremony. Due to COVID being back on the rise we think it is best to limit the number of guests for safety. We will Facebook Live the event on our school Facebook page for viewing. Masks will be required for attendance. Your child will be bringing home a letter and their tickets today. Thank you for understanding.
