Dear Parents/Guardians:
Our 5th grade students have worked hard this year to achieve the goals set for and by them. We would like to celebrate these students as they finish their time here at Bennettsville Intermediate School and begin their new journey as 6th graders.
On Wednesday, June 1st we will host a 5th grade cook-out in the morning. We will have food, drinks, games, music, etc. This is a half-day, so the students will be dismissed early. More details will come closer to the date. Attendance will be determined by behavior between now and the day before the cook-out.
The evening of June 1st at 5:30 pm we will host a Promotion Ceremony in the auditorium. This will be in place of their regular awards ceremony. We are asking that our girls wear black or white dresses or black dress pants and a white top and our boys wear black pants and white dress shirts. More details will come closer to time.
We are so excited to be able to do this for our students this year! If you have any questions or concerns please contact your child’s homeroom teacher or the front office.

Good Afternoon. If your child was signed up for the April 1st Arts Extravaganza and requested transportation- the bus will arrive between 7:00-7:30 am tomorrow. Reminder they have to be picked up. The night performance starts at 5 pm.

Dear Parents,
At Bennettsville Intermediate School the safety of our students is top priority. We have made some changes to car rider dismissal to help. You have received two BIS Car Identification tags if your child was at school on March 21st. These are half sheets of paper with the BIS logo and your child's name. The tag must be in the passenger side front dash window for dismissal purposes. If someone does not have a tag they will need to park and come to the front office for identification purposes. This will help for quicker dismissal in the afternoons and add a layer of security. Thank you for your help with dismissal.
